After each consultation, the AI gets part of the work done: it suggests the prescription, builds the charge, records the vaccines mentioned and completes the patient's record. In Settings → AI automations you choose what it may do on its own. Each switch saves right away and applies to the next consultations.
Drafts for you to approve
They show on the consultation with the AI badge, and nothing counts until you approve it.
- Suggest the prescription: writes the prescription from the treatment discussed in the consultation. When off, create it with ✦ AI in the editor or ask Mima.
- Suggest the charge: builds a draft with items from your price list. When off, the ✦ Suggest with AI button stays on the consultation's Charge card. If Finance is turned off in Settings → Finance, no charge is suggested.
- Record the vaccines mentioned: adds the vaccines discussed in the consultation and creates the next-dose reminder in the agenda. The reminder only goes to the guardian by WhatsApp after you approve the vaccine.
Rather write prescriptions yourself? On the suggested prescription's card, in the consultation's Prescriptions tab, tap Don't suggest prescriptions. The notice that shows has Undo.
Timeline and patient record
They go straight to the patient's record.
- Clinical notes on the timeline: keeps the consultation's key findings as notes. When off, findings stay in the medical record only.
- Complete the patient's record: fills in species, sex, breed, color and neutering when the field is empty. Never replaces what is already there. When off, what was heard shows on the consultation only, and what you type in This consultation's data still goes to the record.
While recording
- Live suggestions: shows hypotheses, exams, questions and treatment on screen while you record. When off, the AI panel shows only what it is hearing, and the This consultation's data card keeps being filled in. On iPhone, the lock screen stops showing suggestions too.
Weight, body condition and vital signs
These are decided by each consultation template, in Settings → Consultation templates. A telemedicine call, for example, has no physical exam. See Consultation templates.
Transcription, summary and medical record always run: they are the basis of the consultation.
