Recording that lasts the whole consultation
👋 Notes from the development team
In this version, we focused on recording reliability, especially on iPhone. We received reports of long consultations being cut off midway and looked into each case. Recording now keeps going even when the app spends a long time in the background, a declined call no longer interrupts the capture and, if iPhone itself closes the app, you get a notice and can keep recording in the same consultation when you open it again.
Move data is also here, to move patients with their full history between your personal profile and the clinics you belong to, in both directions.
As always, the version brings a number of usability improvements and fixes, listed below.
Our direction stays the same: to build the most useful app for vets, with artificial intelligence that is simple to use and does real work during the consultation, at a fair price. Much of this version came from your reports, so keep telling us what you find through Contact us.
And keep an eye on the next releases: we are building features many of you have asked for.

🎙️ Recording that does not stop mid-consultation
On iPhone, recording keeps going even after a long time in the background, and a declined call no longer interrupts the capture.
📱 "Keep recording" after the app closes
If iPhone closes the app mid-consultation, a "Recording stopped" notice arrives within about 2 minutes. Open it again, tap "Keep recording" and carry on in the same consultation.
🎙️ A notice when another app uses the microphone
A call or another app using the microphone shows "Recording paused by the system", and recording resumes on its own once it is free.
📋 Move data between your personal profile and clinics
In Settings → Move data, move patients with their full history between your profile and your clinics, with a preview of what will change before you confirm.
What changed in this version
New features
- Move data, in Settings: move patients, with their full history, between your personal profile and your clinics, in both directions and also from one clinic to another. Choose all of them, those of one clinic, or one by one.
- Before you confirm a move, a preview shows how many patients, consultations, prescriptions, exams and documents will change place, without changing anything.
- On iPhone, a "Recording stopped" notice when the system closes the app mid-consultation.
- On iPhone, when you reopen the app after it was closed during a consultation, you choose "Keep recording" in the same consultation or "End and process" with the audio already saved.
- On iPhone, a "Recording paused by the system" notice when a call or another app uses the microphone while the app is in the background; recording resumes on its own once it is free.
Improvements
- Moving patients to the clinic is no longer final: you can bring them back to your personal profile from the same screen, and any vet on the team can move their own patients to the clinic.
- When you approve a change proposed by Mima, the card shows "Applying change…" and the correction to the medical record is ready faster.
- On Android, the recording notification tells you when the 2-hour limit is reached.
- On Android, the AI suggestion in the recording notification is hidden on the lock screen when the device is set to hide sensitive content.
Fixes
- On iPhone, long consultations are no longer cut short when the app spends a long time in the background.
- On iPhone, a declined call or an alarm no longer interrupts the recording.
- On iPhone, using voice dictation in the chat during a consultation no longer ends the recording.
- When the consultation is ended on another device, the phone stops recording on its own, even with the screen locked.
- On Android, if the app's screen closes unexpectedly during a consultation, recording keeps going and the app returns straight to it, with the pause and the live transcript as they were.
- On Android, if you tap Record and then switch apps or lock the screen, recording starts when you come back instead of failing.
- A consultation paused with the app in the background is no longer ended on its own after 45 minutes: the pause can last up to 3 hours.
- Stretches that sometimes went missing from the transcript and the summary are now caught and recovered, and the last sentence said before you stop recording is no longer lost.
- Consultations with more than an hour of conversation are finalised as soon as you stop recording.
- Consultations whose final processing failed keep their audio for playback.
- Switching between your personal profile and the clinic no longer deletes the backup copy of the audio of a consultation that was still uploading.
- Tapping a stretch of the transcript takes you to the right point in the audio even when the connection dropped during the consultation.
- Mima no longer asks you to resend X-rays and photos that are already in the patient's history, and can now analyse large images too.
- Follow-up questions in a conversation with Mima stay on the same patient, and "Thor's last consultation" uses Thor's own consultations.
- Mima answers in the language you wrote your question in.
- X-rays and lesion photos added to the history no longer replace the patient's profile photo, and "Remove photo" no longer deletes the image from the history.
- The photo and weight at the top of the patient record update straight away.
- In Finance, payments, due dates and today's and this month's totals follow your day, even for entries made at night.
- Deleting a ready-made protocol really works, and the protocol list no longer fills up with repeated copies.
- For those using the app in Spanish or English, the headings of the consultation summary PDF and the type and status of documents appear in your language.
- The "Audio recovered" notice only appears when an important part of the consultation was missing, sits right under the tabs and can be closed once read.
- The consultation's processing indicator moves again while the AI works.
